After a quiet 2020, Downtown Hattiesburg can look forward to a rockin’ 2021. And for that, we have the 22nd Annual Downtown Crawfish Jam Music Festival to thank. Crawfish, live music, and even some time to give back—it really will bring the fun!

For more than two decades, Hattiesburg residents have gathered together to celebrate the Annual Downtown Crawfish Jam Music Festival. Hosted by the Hattiesburg Historic Neighborhood Association, the event also raises money for the Walthall Foundation, who supports the restoration and preservation of the Walthall School property.
What Can I Do At the Festival?
People love the Downtown Crawfish Jam Music Festival for a reason. In fact, they love it for many! When you visit, you can enjoy:
- Live music, which will last from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.;
- All-you-can-drink Coke products and beer;
- All-you-can-eat hot dogs, crawfish, and burgers; and
- A Kids Zone for the children.
Visiting Details
Thanks to a funny coincidence, people will find it hard to forget the date of the festival. Not only does it mark the 22nd incarnation of event, but it also takes place on May 22! It will run from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Downtown Hattiesburg at Walthall Park, which you can find at 600 Walnut St.
You can only get your tickets here and in advance, since the event plans for fewer visitors this year. Tickets for those aged 21 and over cost $50, while a junior ticket for those aged 13 to 20 costs $40. Bring I.D. if you plan to partake in the beer! Lastly, children aged 12 and under can attend for free, though you should note that their food will not fall under the unlimited plan.
