Downtown Candlelit Christmas 2021
Presented by the Downtown Hattiesburg Association and in partnership with the Hattiesburg Historic Neighborhood Association, this weekend-long event lets you get all your shopping done with extended hours alongside a variety of special treats for downtown visitors.
Special events include a self-guided holiday window display contest, “A Downtown Christmas Story,” and the guided walking tour, “Ghosts of Christmas Past.”
Victorian Candlelit Christmas
Hosted by the Hattiesburg Historic Neighborhood Association, this annual tradition features flickering luminaries lining the sidewalks of Hattiesburg’s Historic Neighborhood and downtown district. More than 300 homes and businesses will be decorated for the holidays, and virtual home tours will be available as well.

Hattiesburg’s Downtown Candlelit Christmas 2021 kicks off on Dec. 11 and runs through Dec. 12. Each day, the hours will last from 5 to 9 p.m.
For a little extra merriment, considering taking advantage of the “Go Cup” ordinance in the area. It means you can bring a drink you buy in the area along with you as you enjoy the festivities.
