FestivalSouth 2023
Let your imagination run free. Let creativity bloom like fresh flowers. Immerse yourself in the arts during FestivalSouth in Hattiesburg. Each year, FestivalSouth is the largest project of the Hattiesburg Concert Association.
This year, FestivalSouth 2023 will feature more than 40 multi-genre artistic events. The events aspire to transcend social, cultural and economic boundaries, connecting us all. The wide-ranging lineup presents participants with the chance to experience an array of entertainment.
There’s music, art, dance, drama, thought-provoking lecture series, film and more. There are also specific activities geared toward families, such as Artie Events for Families, as well as teens with FestivalZ, for instance.
In fact, one of the show-stopping Artie Events for Families is Disney’s Beauty and the Beast presented by The Hub City Players. Performances are scheduled for various times May 30th-June 3rd.
FestivalSouth also conducts the Best of the Pine Belt online voting poll. Nominations opened May 1st for categories ranging from “Best Hamburger” to “Best Place to Work” and will continue through May 22nd. Voting for the Best of the Pine Belt winners will be open from July 4th-24th.
More about FestivalSouth

You can exercise your body too. The Festival5K, or 2023 Dog Days 5K and 2 Mile Walk at FestivalSouth, will be on Saturday, June 10th, at Kamper Park. The pup-friendly race is fun for the whole family, including the four-legged members.
Plus, proceeds benefit the Hub City Service Dogs program, a local nonprofit that trains service animals. Registration for the race is going on now, but it ends on June 8th.
